Your Favorites tab just got a big upgrade.
Surface specific Favorites
Now you can customize your Favorites on your phone, tablet, and watch. Create one set of go-to Favorites on your watch and a different set for the devices you check the most from your phone. Coming soon to Public Preview.
Expand your Favorites
Add new tiles to your Favorites tab in the Google Home app for quick access to indoor temps, lighting, WiFi, and more.1
Google Nest upgrades
Jump forward or back 10 seconds in your timeline by double tapping the side of your video.2
Video history loads faster and smoother so you can effortlessly scrub through your camera events.2
Automation
Create automations in fewer steps directly in the Google Home app, with new starters and conditions that let you get even more specific.3 Available in Public Preview on Android.
Home and away automations
It’s now possible for your media devices to be part of presence sensing for your Home and Away routines. So if you’re playing music or watching a show, your devices can signal to the Google Home app that you’re home, making your routines more helpful.1
Google TV Picture in Picture
Available in Public Preview. Keep an eye on your camera while you’re watching TV, with picture-in-picture from your Google TV Streamer home panel. See who’s at your door, or check in on the backyard without having to pause what you’re watching or switch screens.2
Google Home for Web
Now more of the devices you control on your Google Home app are available on Google Home for web. Adjust your lights, set the temperature, control media, and more – right from your browser.1,2 Coming soon to Public Preview.
