Home and away automations

Smarter Home and Away routines

It’s now possible for your media devices to be part of presence sensing for your Home and Away routines. So if you’re playing music or watching a show, your devices can signal to the Google Home app that you’re home, making your routines more helpful.1

Your home in view

Available in Public Preview. Keep an eye on your camera while you’re watching TV, with picture-in-picture from your Google TV Streamer home panel. See who’s at your door, or check in on the backyard without having to pause what you’re watching or switch screens.2

Google Home for Web

Control from your browser

Now more of the devices you control on your Google Home app are available on Google Home for web. Adjust your lights, set the temperature, control media, and more – right from your browser.1,2 Coming soon to Public Preview.
